Checking In with 4th Kind

Just got back from vacation and now I’m back to working on my Neo-retro game “4th Kind”.

This will be a rather simple update. Rather than getting to the “things to do” list from the last post, I’ve been working on a few other things.

This week’s progress…

  1. Added new weapon: Sonic Blaster
  2. Added new weapon: Blunderbuss
  3. Fixed a few bugs relating to these two new weapons.
  4. Fixed it so that only one “Weapon Pointer” can show up at a time.
  5. I think I fixed a bug where the “SlimeBar” monster wasn’t deleting after being killed.

I’m trying to set a goal of finishing The 4th Kind by the end of Summer. At least the coding part. I do not want this to become a forever project, which I could see it becoming if I don’t set myself deadlines.
